Skin Review - Glam Affair [Giselle]

Glam Affair's new skin called Giselle is out in their store and it's gorgeous but that surely doesn't come as a surprise. If you were already in love with Leah but want something a little more mature, Giselle will surely win your heart.

As always the skin comes in five different skin tones shown above and 12 different makeups pictured below. Each purchase contains versions with blonde, red and dark eyebrows - with and without hairbases - as well as a clean version in each of these options.

Giselle is a highly realistic skin with little freckles, some tiny beauty marks and highlights on the forehead and around the nose. If that is not enough realism, you can add three different natural brows or an extra freckle layer.

The makeups are beautiful and there's something for every taste - from soft pastels to dramatic vivid color combinations. The lipsticks are glossy and the eyeshadows creamy and soft.

Make the rules, then break 'em all

Some days ago I was going through my inv looking for a very pale desaturated skin for a series of artsy fartsy 'tribute to Ray Caesar' pics for our tumblr when I found Glam Affair's Contessa skin hidden in one of my folders. I always thought it was a) a shame the guys can choose among 12 or 15 tones for Tableau Vivant skins while we girls get only 5 regular tones and b) that it was an even bigger shame that this milky goodness of a skin was sold at 70L only at The Dressing Room.

My heart skipped a beat when I saw the announcement on flickr that the new Leah skin would be sold at The Gallery Gift Shop in a special edition called Contessina. Just like the old Contessa skin it is pale, milky and creamy with a soft pink blush and rose lips but with the new adorable Leah face. Can't get any better than that, eh?
